Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. This will be the 4th year of my participation in the Tour of Sufferlandria. Some of you know exactly what that means. To you others, I am riding my bicycle on a stationary trainer for the next 9 consecutive days and going absolutely nowhere.
I'm riding to help people with Parkinson's live well today. Your donation to my fundraising page not only will encourage me to train harder and ride faster, but will help expand the Davis Phinney Foundation's important work and programming.
My dad suffered from Parkinson's, and I saw how if affected his quality of life. He is the reason I am who I am today. Well, there's my mom to blame, I mean credit, as well. I love to put myself out there and see what my body can do.
I am also riding in memory of my dear friend Scott. He was a huge motivator, cheerleader, and sometimes I thought he was my biggest fan. And...he absolutely loved to ride his bike.
Large or small, anything you can donate is very much appreciated.
Your donation will help:
- Produce upcoming The Victory Summit® events across the US and world
- Fund innovative Parkinson’s research - focused on improving quality of life
- Offer their first live, online course for care partners on how to build resilience
- Collaborate with other organizations to expand Sidekicks™, an intergenerational creative program connecting youth with people with Parkinson’s
